Multiple effect concentrators for low viscosity juices

Multiple effect concentrators for low viscosity juices

In order to offer high capacities “falling film” concentrators to the Brazilian market TFM has signed a partnership with the Italian company FARCK, which has been in business for 40 years and holds a lot of experience.

Falling Film evaporators are ideal for concentrations of low viscosity juices as grape, orange, coconut water, pineapple and others, and are widely applied in other branches like milk and dairy products as well.

Nowadays we can offer those evaporators from three to six heat retrieving effects, carrying a steam recompression system, technologies that work together to allow an extremely reduced energetic consumption, therefore reaching 10 kilograms of evaporated water with 1 kilogram of steam.

The innovative one-piece construction system enables fast installation and makes the transport of components easier.

Capacities will be defined according to the needs of the customer, from 1.000kg/h to 50.000Kg/h of evaporated water.

Launch: EA-2C-SB Filling Machine – Agro and Dairy Versions

Tropical Food Machinery, from Pouso Alegre (MG), launches new Bag in Box aseptic filling machines in Agro and Dairy versions. The Agro version uses ozone for sterilization, ideal for inoculants and biofertilizers. The Dairy version uses hydrogen peroxide, ensuring safety in the packaging of dairy bases and Low Acid products. Low acidity products meet FDA (USA) standards, ensuring quality and export. TFM also maintains the standard Aseptic version, for pulps and tomatoes. More versatility and the same engineering excellence — Tropical Food Machinery.

Apis Flora - Concentrated Propolis Line

In 2019, we completed the delivery of a concentrated propolis production line through alcoholic extraction and subsequent vacuum evaporation. The process involves the propolis, initially in the form of wax from the apiary, being added to grain alcohol within a process tank specifically designed for this purpose. In the mixing tank, the product is kept constantly stirred, undergoing successive heating and cooling operations over many hours. After this period, the propolis will be diluted. The settled sediment is discarded, and the product is sent to the concentrator for alcohol evaporation and propolis concentration. The concentration pot facilitates vacuum evaporation, and the evaporated alcohol is recovered in an indirect condenser and sent back to the alcohol accumulation tank. The final product is pure and concentrated propolis. All equipment was constructed following safety standards for explosive atmospheres and ATEX certification. Currently, the line is in perfect operation, adding value to our customer.
